This is the last day of July, and also the fourth day I have been in the Summer Camp.
　　 What a sunny morning it was! When I got up at six to go jogging as usual I was very happy. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and fresh, all of which put me in a good mood.
　　 I jogged along the road heading north. After about 10 minutes, I started to run back facing north. When I was jogging back ,some villagers passed by. To my surprise, they looked at me with strange expressions. Hadn＇t they seen someone running before.
　　 Then I saw some chestnut trees beside the road. I remembered that one of my roommate wanted some chestnuts when we were climbing the Silver Mountain, so I climbed up the hillside below the trees and picked up six chestnuts, every two of which were growing together. And then I threw them on to the ground because the spines on them hurt me very much.. Moreover ,it would be too dangerous to climb down a hill with things in your hands.
　　 But to my disappointment, when I climbed down the hill, I found all the nuts which attached together . That didn’t matter ,because somehow I was happy to find a gift for others all by myself.
　　 After I reached my dormitory, I cut up two chestnuts only to find two pips, which were even smaller than melon seeds.

July 29th, 2004 Rainy

It is already two days since I came to the summer camp. I found it very interesting here and I also have made some good friends. My best friend and roommate is Kacy. She is from Jiangsu which is next to Shandong where my hometown is .She is very friendly to me and always talks about different things in our hometown with me and I’m so happy to make this friend.
Jason is our foreign teacher and Chile is another teacher. Jason is a quite humorous man and he often runs here and there and I called him a “fly man”. He has played lots of interesting games with us and we have found them to be a lot of fun. His class amused us by showing us different funny things about English so that we can improve English easier and faster. I like to learn things in this way and in my opinion, it’s just the shortcoming of Chinese education.
Our class were finished at 3:30 in the afternoon and then a rest was taken .The majority of the people were talking and the others were sleeping or watching TV. People rested themselves in different ways but everyone was easygoing.

July 30th, 2004 Cloudy

Today everything is OK. At first, I want to introduce my foreign teacher. He is from Canada. He is tall and thin. He is always very happy. Today we played table tennis together. He played quite well. He said he love this sport, so do I. His way of teaching is smart. He let us play games and study at the same time. We can learn a lot while playing games, I think I will invite him to my hometown someday.
In the morning, all of the students( including me ) went to the Silver Mountain with Towers. It lies in ChangPing in Beijing. The sight there is really nice and the air is fresh and clean. There are lots of towers. They are used to make people remember those great monks. I thought the bodies of them were buried under the towers. In fact, it is a tomb for great monks. After seeing that my friend and I climbed the mountain. The Towers are at the bottom of the mountain and nothing interesting is at the top of the mountain .It is quite far to get to the top. We were very tired when we were climbing. But we got to the top at last. Both of us were heroes I thought.
I not only exercised but got to know lots of knowledge. What a cool day.
How time flies, 3days have passed. I think I will study harder tomorrow.

Today we went to Yin Shan Ta Lin. We went there by bus. On our way to climb the hill we were very tired. We often said “give up” , but I never gave up. Because I was very confident. I must reach the top of the mountain. We overcame many difficulties. Today is very hot, so we were very hot, we all sweated profusely. My shirt was wet. At that time，we were really very tired, but we all decided to stand out a crisis. At last, we won, we reached the top of the mountain. I climbed the top of the mountain ninth. I was very happy. When we went down the hill. We were very quick. I wanted to buy some dry fruit, but they weren’t delicious, so I didn’t buy it. In the afternoon, after we went back, I was really very tired, so I couldn’t leave. I lied in bed. After supper, we had a rest for a while. Now I am writing my diary for today. After a while, we can watch an English film. It’s very great.
Today I am very tired, but I think it’s well worth climbing the mountain, because it can make me healthier.

There was a feeling called blue , wind brings it to me. All day, I felt unhappy. Maybe it had no reason. Maybe, the free time let me feel lonely, I missed all the things in my home. The bed just for me. The TV just for me. The food just cooked for me.
Sometimes friends can give me warmth, I still really feel that there is an invisible motorizes to me.
My brother Hadrian told me on the mobile phone, “ Everything has its probations period.” I believe time can help me mature.
